S 7188: Requires the board of elections to send an absentee ballot application to all voters who filed an absentee ballot application for the prior election; provides for a permanent absentee ballot application list.
The bill aims to improve the absentee voter application process in New York State. It requires the board of elections to send an absentee ballot application to all voters who previously applied for an absentee ballot before any village election, primary election, special election, or general election.
