The bill proposes to allow the Commissioner to develop and offer number stickers that can be used in place of traditional number plates on motor vehicles. These stickers would have the same appearance, numbering system, and fees as number plates and would be attached directly to the body of the vehicle in the same position as a number plate. The new stickers would be an alternative option for motor vehicle owners, and the bill would take effect 90 days after it becomes a law.
