STATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 8231 2025-2026 Regular Sessions IN SENATE May 27, 2025 ___________ Introduced by Sen. RAMOS -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Labor AN ACT to amend chapter 413 of the laws of 2003 amending the labor law relating to the self-employment assistance program and other matters, in relation to extending the effectiveness thereof The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 10 of chapter 413 of the laws of 2003 amending the 2 labor law relating to the self-employment assistance program and other 3 matters, as amended by chapter 293 of the laws of 2023, is amended to 4 read as follows: 5 § 10. This act shall take effect immediately; provided, however, that 6 sections eight and nine of this act shall expire December 7, [2025] 2027 7 when upon such date the provisions of such sections shall be deemed 8 repealed. 9 § 2.
