STATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 8342 2025-2026 Regular Sessions IN SENATE June 3, 2025 ___________ Introduced by Sen. COMRIE -- (at request of the Metropolitan Transporta- tion Authority) -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules AN ACT to amend part P of chapter 39 of the laws of 2019, amending the public authorities law relating to the acquisition and disposition of real property, in relation to extending the effectiveness thereof The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 2 of part P of chapter 39 of the laws of 2019, 2 amending the public authorities law relating to the acquisition and 3 disposition of real property, as amended by chapter 278 of the laws of 4 2022, is amended to read as follows: 5 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately; provided that section one 6 of this act shall be deemed repealed [six years after such effective7date] June 24, 2028, provided that any condemnation proceedings in proc- 8 ess at the time of repeal shall not be affected by such repeal. 9 § 2.
