The bill aims to increase insurance coverage for certain medical tests, specifically testing for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) levels in blood. It requires all insurance policies providing medical, major medical, or similar comprehensive-type coverage to cover testing for PFAS levels in blood if ordered by a licensed healthcare provider under the education law.
