HB 121: Declare certain natural gas producers are not public utilities
This bill aims to declare certain renewable natural gas producers are not public utilities. It redefines renewable natural gas as biologically derived methane gas processed to meet pipeline-quality fuel standards. The bill states that any producer without the capability to inject renewable natural gas into a natural gas pipeline should not be considered a public utility. This change aims to clarify the definition of renewable natural gas and its producers.
