HB 420: Enact Taxpayers Freedom Trilogy-Act I:Discontinuing the Continuum
This act aims to disallow and eventually eliminate property taxes levied for an extended period. It proposes to repeal certain sections of the revised code that govern property taxes and replace them with new provisions. The goal is to provide taxpayers with more freedom and flexibility in managing their property taxes. The act is divided into three parts, with the first part discontinuing the continuum of property taxes, the second part providing relief to taxpayers, and the third part making adjustments to the code. The act is nicknamed the "Taxpayers Freedom Trilogy - Act One: Discontinuing the Continuum".
