HB 463: Revise driver education requirements
The bill amends Ohio's driver education requirements, making several key changes. A temporary instruction permit can be issued to anyone 15 years and 6 months old, allowing them to drive under certain conditions. These conditions include being accompanied by an eligible adult, wearing all available occupant restraining devices, and not having a prohibited concentration of alcohol. To operate a motorcycle or motor-driven cycle, a separate permit can be issued, and to operate a motorized bicycle, a permit can be issued to anyone 14 or 15 years old.
