HB 482: Designate Bill Powell Memorial Highway
The bill proposes to designate a portion of US Route 30 in Stark County, Ohio, as the "Bill Powell Memorial Highway." The eastbound and westbound lanes of the highway between Evening Star Avenue and Neiman's Avenue will bear this name. Suitable markers will be erected by the Director of Transportation to indicate the name of the highway.

To enact section 5534.972 of the Revised Code to designate a portion of U.S. Route 30 in Stark County as the "Bill Powell Memorial Highway."
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That section 5534.972 of the Revised Code be enacted to read as follows:
Sec. 5534.972. In addition to any other name prescribed in the Revised Code or otherwise, the eastbound and westbound lanes of United States route number thirty between Evening Star Avenue and Neiman's Avenue, in Stark county, shall be known as the "Bill Powell Memorial Highway."
The director of transportation may erect suitable markers along the highway indicating its name.
