HB 602: Limit the types of flags that a state agency may display
The bill aims to limit the types of flags that a state agency can display on its grounds or in its buildings. Authorized flags include the official state flag, the US flag, and the POW/MIA flag. Additionally, state agencies can display flags with their official logo, provided it has been approved by the governor or the governor's designee. This restriction does not apply to the statehouse or its grounds. The existing section of the code is repealed, and the new section will take its place.
