HB 690: Establish penalties for failing to obey a school crossing guard
This bill proposes to amend several sections of the Ohio Revised Code to establish penalties for failing to obey a school crossing guard and other related offenses. The proposed changes include adding new offenses to the list of those that can result in the death of another person. The bill would also repeal existing sections of the code related to these offenses. The goal is to increase safety for children and others who rely on school crossing guards to navigate intersections.
