HCR 2: Appoints joint committee for inauguration of President-elect
The state of Ohio will be represented at the inauguration of the President of the United States. A joint committee of up to 16 members will be selected by the Speaker of the House and the President of the Senate to attend the event. This committee will represent the state of Ohio in its official capacity. The committee will consist of 8 members from each house of the state legislature.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF OHIO (THE SENATE CONCURRING):
WHEREAS, On the Twentieth Day of January, 2025, the inauguration 4
of the President of the United States will take place in the City of 5
Washington, District of Columbia; and 6
WHEREAS, It is fitting that the State of Ohio be represented in 7
its official capacity at said inauguration of the President of the 8
United States, on the Twentieth Day of January, 2025, in the City of 9
Washington, District of Columbia; therefore be it 10
RESOLVED, By the members of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, 11
that a committee not to exceed eight members of each house, be 12
selected by the Speaker of the House and the President of the Senate 13
to attend and represent the State of Ohio at said inauguration of the 14
President of the United States. 15
