To recognize the 250th anniversary of the United States Postal Service, to express appreciation for its enduring service, and to support continued efforts to ensure the long-term strength, efficiency, and accessibility of the United States Postal Service.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF OHIO (THE SENATE CONCURRING):

WHEREAS, For 250 years, the United States Postal Service 6
(USPS) has faithfully connected communities across our nation by 7
providing universal mail service to every address in America, 8
regardless of geography or income; and 9
WHEREAS, The USPS delivers vital goods and services- 10
including prescriptions to seniors and veterans, shipments for 11
small businesses that drive local economies, mail and supplies 12
to farmers and rural families, and dependable service to every 13
corner of the nation, including areas that private carriers 14
often cannot efficiently reach; and 15
WHEREAS, The USPS has long been one of the most trusted and 16
respected public institutions in the United States, providing 17
