A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Wagnalls Memorial Library on its One Hundredth Anniversary.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize the Wagnalls Memorial Library as it commemorates its Centennial; and
WHEREAS, This is, indeed, an important occasion, and congratulations are certainly in order. The Wagnalls Memorial Library has experienced tremendous growth and prosperity over the past century, and it has tirelessly served as a place for inspiration and discovery for innumerable people in the Lithopolis area; and
WHEREAS, The Wagnalls Memorial Library has become one of the community's most valuable public resources by offering numerous collections, local events, and a statewide network of partnerships. Thanks to the generous efforts of a host of area citizens, it remains an outstanding facility for its patrons as well as an exciting hub of language and learning that connects people through a variety of programming; and
WHEREAS, Those who have nurtured, directed, and sustained the Wagnalls Memorial Library merit praise for their remarkable initiative, diligence, and resolve. With a wealth of vision and vitality, they have shown how very much can be accomplished by a group of conscientious, industrious people, and they can be proud that their unflagging commitment to literacy, education, and volunteer service has made it possible for the library to flourish; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the Wagnalls Memorial Library on its One Hundredth Anniversary and look with optimism to a bright future; and be it further .....
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Wagnalls Memorial Library.
