A RESOLUTION
Honoring Saints Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church on its One Hundredth Anniversary.
1WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th 1 General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Saints Peter and 2 Paul Byzantine Catholic Church on the auspicious occasion of its One 3 Hundredth Anniversary, commemorated June 29, 2025; and
5WHEREAS, Recognition of this significant milestone is a fitting 5 tribute to Saints Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, for over 6 the past century, it has attained a praiseworthy record of service. 7 The achievements of this fine house of worship are a justifiable 8 source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on the church 9 itself but also on its devoted pastor, the Reverend Miron Kerul'-Kmec 10 Jr., on its members, and on the Warren community; and
12WHEREAS, The source of many social, religious, and humanitarian 12 projects and programs, Saints Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church 13 has enhanced the quality of life in the area since its inception in 14 1925, and its generous contributions have earned it the gratitude and 15 respect of the many citizens it has so capably served. We are certain 16 that in the years to come, the church will maintain the tradition of 17 spiritual enlightenment that has long been its hallmark; and
19WHEREAS, The members of the Saints Peter and Paul Byzantine 19 Catholic Church have long been actively involved in, and concerned 20 about, the events in their community, and this celebration offers them 21 a unique opportunity to share their memories and to reflect on the 22 benefits of life in their close-knit community. The congregation can, 23 indeed, be proud of their church, for they have built on the best 24 traditions of the past to ensure a peaceful and robust future; 25 therefore be it
