Honoring the Olentangy Berlin High School cheer team as the 2024 OHSAA Division I Spirit State Champion.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Olentangy 2
Berlin High School cheer team on winning the 2024 Ohio High School 3
Athletic Association Division I Spirit State Championship; and 4
WHEREAS, A remarkable group of young athletes, the members of the 5
Olentangy Berlin High School cheer team have established themselves as 6
truly exceptional competitors by combining talent and spirit with the 7
highest ideals of good sportsmanship. With admirable dedication, the 8
Bears have worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in 9
their sport, and as a result, they won the 2024 OHSAA Division I 10
Spirit State Championship with an impressive score of 90.93; and 11
WHEREAS, The achievements and leadership of the Olentangy Berlin 12
High School cheer team are a justifiable source of pride and an 13
excellent reflection on the members of the squad, their families, 14
their school community, and their coaches. Indeed, these athletes have 15
developed determination, perseverance, and camaraderie that they have 16
displayed proudly in all of their competitive endeavors; and 17
WHEREAS, With athletics playing such an important role in the 18
total education of our young people, we are pleased to pay tribute to 19
the Olentangy Berlin High School cheer team for a job well done. The 20
maturity and experience that these exemplary young Ohioans have gained 21
through their participation in sports will greatly aid them in meeting 22
the challenges of the future; therefore be it 23
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 24

commend the Olentangy Berlin High School cheer team on its tremendous 26
2024 season and salute the members and coaches as some of Ohio’s 27

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 29
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Olentangy Berlin 30
High School cheer team. 31
