State Wrestling Championship.
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to applaud Marcus Blaze as the
2025 Division I State Wrestling Champion in the 150-pound weight
class; and
has clearly demonstrated his talent and perseverance, as well as his
mental and physical fortitude. As this year's Division I State
Wrestling Champion in the 150-pound weight class, he holds the special
distinction of becoming one of our state's few four-time champions,
and in winning this crown, he has exemplified all of the
characteristics that are essential for success both in and out of the
sports world, including courage, determination, and an innate sense of
the principles of good sportsmanship; and
of the Perrysburg High School wrestling team, Marcus Blaze has earned
the appreciation of his fellow athletes, the devotion of countless
fans, and the respect of even his most determined rivals. Competition
in athletics has enabled him to learn much about dedication and
self-discipline, and we take this opportunity to acknowledge his
exemplary record of achievement; and
stamina, and natural ability, and Marcus Blaze is to be commended for
his commitment to this demanding activity. In attaining his athletic
goals, he has consistently exhibited the skill and integrity that are
the hallmarks of a true champion; therefore be it
the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,
congratulate Marcus Blaze on his personal success and salute him as
one of Ohio's finest young citizens; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Marcus Blaze.
