Honoring Daniela Scheffler on securing first place at the 2025 Division I State Track and Field Championship.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Daniela Scheffler 1 on her performance at the 2025 Division I State Track and Field Meet; and 2
WHEREAS, A senior at Lake Middle High School, Daniela Scheffler 5 has combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of 6 good sportsmanship to establish herself as a truly exceptional 7 athlete. A strong competitor, she has worked diligently toward 8 attaining ultimate proficiency in her events, and as a result, she won 9 first place in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 10 minutes, 21.82 10 seconds and second place in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 4 11 minutes, 47.08 seconds at this year's Division I State Meet; and 12
WHEREAS, Throughout intense training and preparation, Daniela 13 Scheffler has consistently demonstrated the talent, integrity, and 14 motivation that are the hallmarks of a true champion. Her unwavering 15 commitment to excellence has earned her the respect and esteem of 16 many, and she is certainly deserving of high praise; and 17
WHEREAS, Daniela Scheffler's accomplishments and leadership, both 18 in and out of competition, are a justifiable source of pride and an 19 outstanding reflection not only on her but also on her family, her 20 teammates, her coaches, her school, and her community. Indeed, the 21 same maturity and experience she has gained through her participation 22 in track and field will greatly aid her in meeting the challenges of 23 the future; therefore be it 24
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 25 the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 26 commend Daniela Scheffler on her personal success and salute her as 27 one of Ohio's finest young citizens; and be it further 28
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 29 a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Daniela Scheffler. 30
