A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Krill Funeral Service on its One Hundred Fiftieth Anniversary.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to 2
Krill Funeral Service on its Sesquicentennial; and 3
WHEREAS, Since its establishment in 1875 by the Krill Family, 4
Krill Funeral Service has earned the respect and appreciation of many 5
area residents, and it has set an example to which other such 6
enterprises can aspire. Over the years, it has demonstrated its 7
outstanding commitment to the highest industry standards without 8
sacrificing concern and compassion for the bereaved, and it has been 9
dedicated to its mission of meeting the needs of its clients, which 10
has built it a reputation as a caring and professional endeavor; and 11
WHEREAS, The success of Krill Funeral Service can be attributed to 12
the vision and foresight of a host of innovative individuals, 13
including its owner and funeral director, Gary Burr, and all those who 14
have been involved with its operations are to be applauded on their 15
tremendous efforts. Clearly, this venture convincingly illustrates how 16
very much can be accomplished by a group of conscientious people with 17
clear objectives and firm resolve, and it is through the work of 18
citizens such as these that Ohio continues to be a pleasant place in 19
which to live; and 20
WHEREAS, Krill Funeral Service has witnessed many changes in the 21
industry over the past one hundred fifty years, but it has always 22
maintained its focus on the needs of its customers. Indeed, it has 23
continually displayed the same signature professionalism and 24
commitment to quality, and we are confident that this exemplary 25
venture will thrive for many more decades to come; therefore be it 26

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 27
the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay 28
tribute to Krill Funeral Service on its One Hundred Fiftieth 29
Anniversary and salute it as one of Ohio’s finest businesses; and be 30
it further 31
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 32
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Krill Funeral Service. 33
