Honoring Tyjon Cousins as the 2025 National Little
Brother of the Year.
Brother of the Year.
1WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
2General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Tyjon Cousins
3on being named the 2025 National Little Brother of the Year by Big
4Brothers Big Sisters of America; and
5WHEREAS, Tyjon Cousins is, indeed, a remarkable individual, and he
6has certainly combined dedication and resolve in all his endeavors. He
7has maintained a positive outlook and developed an enduring
8relationship with his Big Brother, Norm Boyd, and it is easy to
9understand why his engaging personality and tenacious resolve have won
10him the recognition and prestige of being awarded the 2025 National
11Little Brother of the Year; and
12WHEREAS, Known for being an exceptional young man and ambassador
13for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati, Tyjon Cousins has
14earned the respect and esteem of many for his strong aspirations, his
15commendable concern, and his unparalleled character. Indeed, he has
16revealed a capacity for hope, potential, and achievement that promises
17to equal virtually any challenge, and he is deserving of high praise
18for his enthusiastic efforts; and
19WHEREAS, Tyjon Cousins' indomitable nature has enabled him to
20persevere, and with the help of his Big Brother and others who have
21offered guidance and encouragement, he has made a lasting impression
22by continually excelling. To his credit, he has shown an inspirational
23commitment to better himself, and he can be proud of his success and
24for prevailing in the face of adversity; therefore be it
