WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th 1 General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to 2 Landon Kimmel on securing the 2025 Division II State Championship in 3 boys cross country; and

WHEREAS, A diligent and capable individual, Landon Kimmel is 5 deserving of acknowledgement for his exemplary accomplishments as a 6 member of the Tippecanoe High School boys cross country team. A remarkable athlete, he won this year's Division II State Championship 8 with a time of 15:12.70, and his notable record of personal 9 achievement stands as a hallmark for others; and

WHEREAS, Throughout the 2025 season, Landon Kimmel prepared 11 conscientiously in pursuit of the state crown, devoting countless 12 hours to training and practice in order to ensure peak conditioning. 13 This demanding regimen has paid handsome dividends, for he certainly 14 has set an example for others to emulate. Time and again, he has risen 15 to the occasion, maintaining his morale, composure, and good 16 sportsmanship, and he has gained the respect of even his most 17 determined rivals; and
