HR 4: Relative to employment and compensation of employees of the House of Representatives preparatory to and during House organization.
The bill aims to ensure that employees who were hired before the start of the new legislative session receive the same compensation as they did during the previous session. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
BE IT RESOLVED, By the members of the House of Representatives 4
of the 136th General Assembly, that the Chief Administrative Officer 5
of the House of Representatives is hereby authorized to pay all 6
employees actually employed preparatory to House organization of the 7
136th General Assembly from December 30, 2024 to January 6, 2025, the 8
date of the convening of the 136th General Assembly, at the same 9
salary that was paid them during the 135th General Assembly. 10
