Honoring the Ottawa Hills High School Quiz Bowl team

as the 2026 National Academic Quiz Tournaments

Ohio State Small School Champion.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th

General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the Ottawa

Hills High School Quiz Bowl team on winning the 2026 National Academic

Quiz Tournaments Ohio State Small School Championship title; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Ottawa Hills High School Quiz Bowl

team are a remarkable group of young academicians, combining talent

and ambitious spirit with exceptional knowledge in a wide range of

subjects to earn this year's National Academic Quiz Tournaments Ohio

State Small School crown, their first such title. Throughout long

hours of practice and preparation, competitors Meral Humaida, Rohan

Padhye, Sahil Parikh, Zacharia Rashid, Jasper Allred, Josef Duley,

Pranathi Gundabolu, Sam Kapadia, Audrey Kelm, Rory Norris, Sungjoo

Park, Evelyn Parsons, and Emily Timmerman have displayed a degree of

determination and motivation of which they can be proud; and

WHEREAS, The success of the Ottawa Hills High School Quiz Bowl

team is a fitting tribute to the excellent leadership provided by its

advisor, Tim Adkins, who has given tirelessly of his time, energy, and

expertise to guide these scholars. The maturity and experience the

students have gained through their participation in this event will

greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of the future; and

WHEREAS, In preparing themselves for competition, the individuals

who comprise the Ottawa Hills High School Quiz Bowl team have had the

opportunity to express their unique abilities and to acquire

information and experience that will be of great benefit to them

throughout their lifetimes. Demonstrating a sincere desire to fully

develop their skills, they are cultivating their ability to assume

meaningful roles in our society as the leaders of tomorrow;

therefore

be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of

the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,

congratulate the Ottawa Hills High School Quiz Bowl team on its

tremendous performance and salute its members and coaches as fine

Ohioans; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit

a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Ottawa Hills High

School Quiz Bowl team.
