Honoring Ella Borstelman on winning the 2025 Division II State Diving Championship.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to applaud Ella Borstelman as the 2
2025 Division II State Champion in girls diving; and 3
WHEREAS, A standout for the Napoleon High School girls swimming 4
and diving team, Ella Borstelman can always be counted on not only to 5
shine individually but also to contribute significantly to the team’s 6
collective effort. Indeed, she made her coaches and family very proud 7
at this year's Division II State Diving Championship, where she posted 8
a score of 431.75 to win the title, and this accomplishment has 9
inspired her teammates, thrilled her fans, and gained the respect of 10
her opponents; and 11
WHEREAS, Displaying exceptional form, ability, and commitment 12
during the 2024-2025 season, Ella Borstelman has certainly 13
distinguished herself as one of the most skilled divers in Ohio. 14
Through her participation in athletic competition, she has learned 15
much about dedication, self-discipline, and leadership, and it is our 16
hope that her example will serve as an inspiration for others; and 17
WHEREAS, With sports playing such an important part in the 18
development of our young people, we are overjoyed to pay tribute to 19
such a remarkable athlete as Ella Borstelman. Thanks to her remarkable 20
talents and her ambition to succeed, she has established a tremendous 21
record of achievement, and it is no surprise that she has won so many 22
admirers; therefore be it 23
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 24
the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 25

optimism to her bright, promising future; and be it further 27
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 28
