Honoring the Pickerington High School Central cheer
team on winning a 2025 OASSA State Championship.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the 2
Pickerington High School Central cheer team as the 2025 Ohio 3
Association of Secondary School Administrators State Champion in 4
Division 1 game day building; and 5
WHEREAS, The members of the Pickerington High School Central cheer 6
team are exemplary athletes, and throughout this celebrated season, 7
they have shown themselves to be a truly exceptional squad. The Tigers 8
have been unwavering in their commitment to excellence, and the 9
competitors and coaches are deserving of high praise for earning this 10
year’s OASSA state title in the Division 1 game day building category; 11
and 12
WHEREAS, The individuals associated with the Pickerington High 13
School Central cheer team have demonstrated remarkable energy, 14
enthusiasm, and dedication in securing this outstanding state 15
recognition. Indeed, this victory is truly a result of the tireless 16
efforts collectively put forth by the team members and coaches, and 17
they have certainly distinguished themselves and received respect and 18
admiration from fans and opponents alike; and 19
WHEREAS, In an educational system that seeks to teach the future 20
leaders of our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and 21
the rewards of personal and group effort, athletic competition has 22
become a valuable tool. By taking part in sports, the members of the 23
Pickerington High School Central cheer team have gained discipline and 24
perseverance that will help them in all aspects of their lives; 25

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 27
the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 28
extend special acknowledgement to the Pickerington High School Central 29
cheer team as the 2025 OASSA State Champion in Division 1 game day 30
building and honor all those who contributed to the success of this 31
fine squad; and be it further 32
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 33
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Pickerington High 34
School Central cheer team. 35
