A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring the National Management Association on its One Hundredth Anniversary.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the National 2
Management Association as it celebrates its One Hundredth Anniversary; 3
and 4
WHEREAS, This is, indeed, an important occasion, and it provides 5
an ideal time to acknowledge the exceptional work done by the National 6
Management Association. Since its establishment by Charles F. 7
Kettering in 1925 as the Foreman’s Club, the association has engaged 8
in an array of worthwhile activities and projects, including offering 9
leadership development products and creating opportunities that 10
maximize the potential of its members, sponsoring organizations, and 11
communities, and its impressive contributions readily explain why it 12
is so widely held in high esteem; and 13
WHEREAS, All those associated with the National Management 14
Association are to be commended for their foresight, dedication, and 15
selfless donations of time, energy, and ability far beyond what was 16
required or expected. These fine people have earned the respect and 17
admiration of many and have set an example of concerned and 18
responsible citizenship worthy of emulation; and 19
WHEREAS, Founded on the highest ideals of professionalism, the 20
National Management Association has distinguished itself by its 21
commitment to excellence. Throughout its history, it has maintained a 22
reputation for integrity, reliability, and devotion to service, and 23
the important efforts of its members are deserving of the highest 24
praise; therefore be it 25

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 26
the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 27
congratulate the National Management Association on its Centennial and 28
salute its staff and members as outstanding citizens; and be it 29
further 30
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 31
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the National 32
Management Association. 33
