Honoring Reagan Knapp as a 2025 State Wrestling Champion.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Reagan Knapp on 2
winning the 2025 State Wrestling Championship in the 145-pound weight 3
class; and 4
WHEREAS, A senior at Pickerington High School North, Reagan Knapp 5
has combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of 6
good sportsmanship to establish herself as a truly exceptional 7
athlete. With admirable dedication, she has worked diligently to 8
attain ultimate proficiency in wrestling, and as a result, she won 9
this year’s State Championship title in the 145-pound weight class, 10
becoming the first female state champion from Pickerington and the 11
first state champion in program history; and 12
WHEREAS, Reagan Knapp’s accomplishments and leadership, both in 13
and out of athletic competition, are a justifiable source of pride and 14
an excellent reflection not only on her but also on her family, her 15
teammates, her coaches, her school, and her community. Her unwavering 16
commitment to excellence has earned her the respect and esteem of 17
many, and she is certainly deserving of high praise; and 18
WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role 19
in the total education of our young people, we are overjoyed to pay 20
tribute to Reagan Knapp on an exemplary season. Indeed, the same 21
maturity and experience she has gained through her participation in 22
wrestling will greatly aid her in meeting the challenges of the 23
future; therefore be it 24
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 25

the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 26
commend Reagan Knapp on her personal success and salute her as one of 27
Ohio’s finest young citizens; and be it further 28
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 29
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Reagan Knapp. 30
