A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring Christopher Ritchie as the 2025 Division II State Boys Bowling Champion.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Christopher 2
Ritchie on winning the 2025 Division II State Championship in boys 3
bowling; and 4
WHEREAS, A senior at Mechanicsburg High School, Christopher 5
Ritchie has combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest 6
ideals of good sportsmanship to establish himself as a truly 7
exceptional young athlete. With admirable dedication, he has worked 8
diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in bowling, and as a 9
result, he won this year’s Division II State Championship with a 10
three-game series score of 764; and 11
WHEREAS, Christopher Ritchie’s accomplishments and leadership, 12
both in and out of competition, are a justifiable source of pride and 13
a fine reflection not only on him but also on his family, his 14
teammates, his coaches, his school, and his community. His unwavering 15
commitment to excellence has earned him the respect and esteem of 16
many, and he is certainly worthy of high praise; and 17
WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role 18
in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased 19
to pay tribute to Christopher Ritchie on an exemplary season. Indeed, 20
the same maturity and experience he has gained through his 21
participation in bowling will greatly aid him in meeting the 22
challenges of the future; therefore be it 23
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 24
the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 25
