A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring the Seton High School varsity dance team on winning a 2025 UDA National Championship.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend the Seton High School 2
varsity dance team as the 2025 UDA National Champion in the Division 3
II small pom category; and 4
WHEREAS, At this year’s UDA National Championships in Orlando, 5
Florida, the members of the Seton High School varsity dance team rose 6
to the occasion and proved themselves to be a dynamic group with their 7
score of 90.4375 to claim the Small Varsity Division II pom title, and 8
in addition, they placed seventh in the hip hop category of their 9
division. Truly, these outstanding athletes can be proud of the 10
accomplishments that were hard-won and well-deserved; and 11
WHEREAS, With great admiration, we congratulate the athletes who 12
comprise the Seton High School varsity dance team, for they have 13
overcome many obstacles and displayed tremendous prowess. Indeed, we 14
are confident that as they meet the challenges ahead, they will take 15
with them the lessons of comradery, diligence, and discipline; and 16
WHEREAS, In an educational system that seeks to teach the future 17
leaders of our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and 18
the rewards of individual and group effort, athletic competition has 19
become a valuable tool. By taking part in this exciting activity, the 20
members of the Seton High School varsity dance team have gained 21
discipline and perseverance that will help them in all aspects of 22
their lives; therefore be it 23
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 24

the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 25
salute the Seton High School varsity dance team on its national 26
championship title and honor all those who contributed to the success 27
of this fine squad; and be it further 28
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 29
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Seton High School 30
varsity dance team. 31
