Honoring Adam Mattin as a 2025 Division III State Wrestling Champion.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to applaud Adam Mattin on winning 2
first place in the 126-pound weight class at the 2025 Division III 3
State Wrestling Meet; and 4
WHEREAS, Adam Mattin has proven to be a talented and superbly 5
conditioned athlete who has gained the respect of fans and opponents 6
alike for his spirited and highly motivated performance in wrestling. 7
Throughout the season, he has worked diligently to improve his skills 8
on the mat, and as a result, he accomplished his goals and won this 9
year’s state championship in his weight class, his third consecutive 10
title; and 11
WHEREAS, Known as a driven and determined individual, Adam Mattin 12
has developed into a remarkably dedicated and efficient wrestler whose 13
skill is equaled only by his exemplary display of sportsmanship. 14
Indeed, he is a credit not only to his family and Delta High School 15
but also to the superb leadership of his coaches; and 16
WHEREAS, The road to victory is a difficult one, requiring 17
ability, endurance, and a positive attitude on the part of athletes 18
and coaches alike. In all of his sports endeavors, Adam Mattin has 19
overcome a variety of challenges, and his tremendous efforts have 20
earned him the admiration of all those who have witnessed him in 21
action; therefore be it 22
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 23
the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 24
salute Adam Mattin on his brilliant wrestling season and wish him the 25
