Honoring Krill Funeral Service on its Sesquicentennial.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Krill Funeral Service on the 2
auspicious occasion of its One Hundred Fiftieth Anniversary; and 3
WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting 4
tribute to Krill Funeral Service, for throughout the past century and 5
a half, it has attained a remarkable record of professionalism. 6
Founded by the Krill family in 1875 as an offshoot of a furniture 7
business, this fine venture is now the largest funeral provider in 8
Williams County, with locations operating in Edgerton, Edon, and 9
Bryan, and over the years, it has expanded on its support for all 10
forms of family loss; and 11
WHEREAS, The success of Krill Funeral Service is a justifiable 12
source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the business 13
itself but also on its astute management and hard-working employees. 14
Offering support, comfort, and dignified ceremonies for its clients, 15
this outstanding establishment has helped countless people cope with 16
one of the most difficult parts of their lives, the death of a loved 17
one; and 18
WHEREAS, Time and again, Krill Funeral Service has earned a well- 19
deserved reputation for compassion by providing assistance and concern 20
to individuals and families in their time of bereavement. This 21
noteworthy enterprise has maintained an unfaltering investment in the 22
community for one hundred fifty years, and we are certain that it will 23
continue to uphold the tradition of excellence that has long been its 24
hallmark; therefore be it 25

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General 26
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Krill Funeral 27
Service on its One Hundred Fiftieth Anniversary and salute it as a 28
fine Ohio endeavor; and be it further 29
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly 30
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Krill Funeral Service. 31
