A RESOLUTION
Honoring Nathan Bright on winning the 2025 Division I State Track and Field Championship in the high jump.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1 of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Nathan Bright as a 2025 Division I 2 State Track and Field Champion; and

WHEREAS, A senior at North Ridgeville High School, Nathan Bright 4 has combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of 5 good sportsmanship to establish himself as a truly exceptional young 6 athlete. With admirable dedication, he has worked diligently toward 7 attaining ultimate proficiency in track and field, and as a result, he 8 won this year's Division I State Championship title in the high jump 9 with a mark of 6 feet, 9 inches. He is deserving of admiration for his 10 prowess; and

WHEREAS, Nathan Bright's accomplishments and leadership, both in 12 and out of competition, are a justifiable source of pride and a fine 13 reflection not only on him but also on his family, his teammates, his 14 coaches, his school, and his community. His unwavering commitment to 15 excellence has earned him this well-deserved honor as well as the 16 respect and esteem of many, and he is certainly worthy of high praise; 17 and

WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role 19 in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased 20 to pay tribute to Nathan Bright on an exemplary season. Indeed, the 21 same maturity and experience he has gained through his participation 22 in track and field will greatly aid him in meeting the challenges of 23 the future; therefore be it
