A RESOLUTION
Honoring James C. Lilly for his service to the State of Ohio.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to James C. Lilly on the memorable 2
occasion of his retirement from the Ohio Legislative Service 3
Commission, July 31, 2025; and 4
WHEREAS, Jim Lilly's sterling reputation and dedication to public 5
service have been a source of pride throughout the whole of his more 6
than thirty-two-year tenure with the Legislative Service Commission. 7
Shepherding the agency through some of its most challenging times as 8
well as witnessing its evolution, he has set himself apart as a 9
consummate professional and an asset to our state's legislative 10
endeavors, and he has been celebrated for being an earnest supporter 11
of Ohio and its elected officials; and 12
WHEREAS, Jim Lilly has been one of the Ohio Legislative Service 13
Commission's most capable ambassadors, and by giving graciously of his 14
time, skill, and expertise, he has demonstrated a praiseworthy 15
commitment to the success of the agency as well as to the 16
effectiveness of the Ohio General Assembly; and 17
WHEREAS, Jim Lilly's expansive professional endeavors have been 18
instrumental to the Ohio Legislative Service Commission, to the Ohio 19
General Assembly, and to the public at-large, but most of all, he has ..... 20
