Honoring the Elyria Foundry on its One Hundred Twentieth Anniversary.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1 of Ohio are pleased to commend the Elyria Foundry on the auspicious 2 occasion of its One Hundred Twentieth Anniversary; and3
WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting 4 tribute to the Elyria Foundry, for throughout the past one hundred 5 twenty years, this fine business has attained a remarkable record of 6 service to the area. Founded in 1905, the company produces all grades 7 of gray and ductile iron castings for numerous industries and employs 8 more than two hundred people, and it also offers manufacturing 9 training opportunities to students from Lorain County Joint Vocational 10 School; and11
WHEREAS, The success of the Elyria Foundry is a justifiable source 12 of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the venture itself 13 but also on its astute management and hard-working employees. Due to 14 their vision and initiative, this respected enterprise has earned the 15 gratitude and appreciation of many satisfied customers, and it is 16 truly deserving of high praise; and17
WHEREAS, Over the decades, the Elyria Foundry has enhanced the 18 quality of life within the surrounding area.
