SR 182: Honoring Bellbrook Museum Cabin on its Bicentennial.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Bellbrook Museum Cabin on its Two 2
Hundredth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting 4
tribute to Bellbrook Museum Cabin, for it has attained a remarkable 5
record of service to the area. Standing as an enduring monument of 6
Bellbrook's past and an example of living history, the establishment 7
has become a beloved part of the community, and its many outstanding 8
accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and a superb 9
reflection not only on the museum but also on its hard-working staff 10
and volunteers; and

WHEREAS, Since its inception, Bellbrook Museum Cabin has witnessed 12
many changes, and it now reflects the growth of the community over the 13
past two centuries. We are certain that as this worthy institution 14
maintains its unfaltering dedication to service, it will continue in 15
the tradition of excellence that has become its hallmark and has 16
enriched the lives of its visitors; and

WHEREAS, An occasion such as this is an important milestone that 18
represents commitment and resolve. For two centuries, the stewards of 19
Bellbrook Museum Cabin have preserved this unique piece of the 20
community, and on this special anniversary, they have accepted the 21
challenge of carrying this history into the future; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General 23
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, celebrate Bellbrook 24
Museum Cabin on its Bicentennial and look to the years ahead with 25
optimism; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Bellbrook Museum Cabin.
