Honoring the Olentangy High School girls lacrosse team on winning the 2025 Division I State Championship.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1 of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the Olentangy Liberty High 2 School girls lacrosse team as the 2025 Division I State Champion; and
WHEREAS, The talented Olentangy Liberty High School girls lacrosse 4 team is, indeed, to be heartily commended for decisively earning this 5 year's Division I State Championship. The squad's performance reflects 6 the outstanding collective effort by a gifted group of athletes, and 7 without exception, the team has devoted countless hours to training 8 and practice in order to ensure peak conditioning. Clearly, this 9 demanding regimen has paid handsome dividends; and
WHEREAS, The members of the Olentangy Liberty High School girls 11 lacrosse team have epitomized the power, poise, and precision that 12 befit true champions. Despite sometimes grueling pressure, they have 13 consistently maintained their composure and morale, exhibiting 14 strength, speed, stamina, and agility in every challenging encounter. 15 Time and again, they have risen to the occasion, amply demonstrating 16 their unflagging determination, and their impressive maturity and 17 finesse have earned them widespread respect, even among their most 18 formidable rivals; and
WHEREAS, By weathering a rigorous schedule and prevailing over a 20 host of adversaries, the members of the Olentangy Liberty High School 21 girls lacrosse team have learned much about dedication, self- 22 discipline, leadership, and perseverance. Their first-place finish is 23 a measure of their stalwart commitment to the sport, and their 24 indomitable spirit has made their families, friends, and coaches ..... 25 incredibly proud; therefore be it .....
