A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Gahanna Lincoln High School girls cross country team as the 2025 Division I State Champion.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1 of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the Gahanna Lincoln High School 2 girls cross country team on securing the 2025 Division I State 3 Championship; and
WHEREAS, The talented Gahanna Lincoln High School girls cross 5 country team is, indeed, to be heartily commended for decisively 6 earning this year's Division I State Championship. The squad's 7 performance reflects the outstanding collective effort by a gifted 8 group of athletes, and without exception, the team has devoted 9 countless hours to training and practice in order to ensure peak 10 conditioning. Clearly, this demanding regimen has paid handsome 11 dividends; and
WHEREAS, The members of the Gahanna Lincoln High School girls 13 cross country team have epitomized the power, poise, and precision 14 that befit true champions. Despite sometimes grueling pressure, they 15 have consistently maintained their composure and morale, exhibiting 16 strength, speed, stamina, and agility in every challenging encounter. 17 Time and again, they have risen to the occasion, amply demonstrating 18 their unflagging determination, and their impressive maturity and 19 finesse have earned them widespread respect, even among their most 20 formidable rivals; and
WHEREAS, By weathering a rigorous schedule and prevailing over a 22 host of adversaries, the members of the Gahanna Lincoln High School 23 girls cross country team have learned much about dedication, self- 24 discipline, leadership, and perseverance.
