A RESOLUTION
In memory of Zelda "Zettie" Zoe Keeran.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1 of Ohio were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Zelda "Zettie" 2 Zoe Keeran and extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and 3 friends; and
WHEREAS, Zettie Keeran left an indelible impression on the people 5 whose lives she touched, and she will be remembered as a spirited 6 individual who contributed immeasurably to the world around her. A 7 registered nurse, she was employed at such facilities as Memorial 8 Hospital in Urbana, the office of Dr. Towle, Latham's Nursing Home, 9 and the Otterbein Green Hills Senior Life Community, retiring from the 10 latter, and she volunteered to read to students in local schools and 11 traveled with her dulcimer group to entertain residents in area care 12 communities; and
WHEREAS, Zettie Keeran's regard for improving the quality of life 14 in our society was clearly evident in her personal sacrifices of time 15 and effort to her family, friends, and community. Giving generously of 16 her energy and abilities in all of her endeavors, she displayed 17 exceptional concern and insight, and her absence will be keenly felt; 18 and
WHEREAS, A devoted wife to her husband, the late Roy Lee, a loving 20 mother to her children, Roy Lee, Jennie, Peter, Stephen, Vincent, and 21 the late Timothy, and a doting grandmother to her grandchildren, ..... 22 Joshua, Jamie, Lindsay, Amanda, Bradley, and Lindsay, and her great- ..... 23 grandchildren, Hudson, Patrick, Thackery, Aria, and Harper, Zettie ..... 24 Keeran always used her talents to the benefit of others, and the ..... 25 laurels of her life stand as a tribute not only to her but also to ..... 26 those she left behind.
