WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1 of Ohio are pleased to applaud the Upper Arlington High School 2 water polo team on placing first at the 2025 State Championship; and
The Upper Arlington High School girls water polo team is 4 made up of remarkable athletes who have worked diligently to showcase 5 the collective talents of their exceptional squad. At this year's 6 state tournament, the Golden Bears won the program's sixth crown in 7 seven years with a 13-10 double-overtime victory over Worthington 8 Kilbourne High School, and the members amply demonstrated impressive 9 determination, maturity, and finesse in pursuit of this achievement; 10 and
This triumph reflects the staunch resolve of these young 12 individuals, and it signifies the acquisition of valuable experience 13 that is sure to benefit them in later life. Thanks to the tireless efforts of an exceptional Upper Arlington High School girls water polo 15 team coaching staff, as well as the support of their Golden Bears 16 community, these athletes have met the demands of an extensive 17 training regimen, and they have just cause for celebration; and
All those who comprise the Upper Arlington High School 19 girls water polo team have set an excellent example of what a 20 dedicated group of athletes can achieve when guided by a committed 21 coaching staff and surrounded by loyal fans, sports families, and 22 boosters.
