They defeated a tough columbus academy team 4-0 and finished the season with a 22-0-2 record. The team's achievements are a source of pride for the players, their families, their school, their community, and their coach, mike fee. The senate commends the team on their tremendous season and salutes the members and coach as some of ohio's finest citizens.

A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Summit Country Day High School girls soccer team as the 2025 Division IV State Champion.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1 of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Summit Country Day High School 2 girls soccer team on winning the 2025 Division IV State Championship; 3 and
WHEREAS, A remarkable group of young athletes, the members of the 5 Summit Country Day High School girls soccer team have combined talent 6 and spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish 7 themselves as truly exceptional competitors. With admirable 8 dedication, the Silver Knights have worked diligently toward attaining 9 ultimate proficiency in soccer, and as a result, they defeated a tough 10 Columbus Academy team by the score of 4-0 to win this year's Division 11 IV State Championship, their third consecutive such crown, and 12 finished the season with an impressive 22-0-2 record; and
WHEREAS, The Silver Knights' achievements and leadership are a 14 justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection on the 15 players, their families, their school, their community, and their 16 coach, Mike Fee. In leading the team to victory, Coach Fee has not 17 only helped the athletes to develop their talents to the fullest but 18 also instilled in them a valuable sense of determination, 19 perseverance, and camaraderie; and
WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role 21 in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased 22 to pay tribute to the exemplary athletes and outstanding coach who 23 comprise the Summit Country Day High School girls soccer team.
