A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring Theresea Varrasso for outstanding service to the Ohio Senate.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Theresea Varrasso 2
for her loyal service to the Ohio Senate; and 3
WHEREAS, Theresea Varrasso is a remarkable individual, for she has 4
combined civic concern and dedication with selfless initiative to 5
become a dynamic member of the Ohio Senate staff. Commencing her 6
service as a page in 2017, she served as a legislative aide for four 7
senators, a senate journal clerk, and the senior legislative aide for 8
Senator Bill Reineke before being named the deputy press secretary for 9
the Senate Majority Caucus in 2023, and she has brought passion to her 10
work. She has clearly shown the potential of each person to have a 11
positive effect on the quality of life in our society; and 12
WHEREAS, Over the years, Theresea Varrasso has given generously of 13
her time, energy, and abilities to assist the Ohio Senate and has 14
demonstrated a praiseworthy commitment to the success of state 15
government. She has played an important role in maintaining the 16
efficiency and effectiveness of the legislative process, and her 17
efforts have reinforced many services that are currently available to 18
the constituents of our state; and 19
WHEREAS, Theresea Varrasso’s contributions to the Ohio Senate have 20
been greatly appreciated by all those who have had the pleasure of 21

working with her. She has displayed exceptional devotion, 22
responsibility, and enthusiasm in her endeavors, and we extend best 23
wishes for health and happiness in the years to come; therefore be it 24
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General 25
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Theresea 26
Varrasso on her exemplary state service and salute her as one of 27
Ohio’s finest citizens; and be it further 28
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly 29
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Theresea Varrasso. 30
