WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Acme Fresh Market on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundred Thirty-fifth Anniversary; and
WHEREAS, Since its founding in 1891 as Albrecht's Grocery by Frederick W. Albrecht, Acme Fresh Market has experienced tremendous prosperity, including expanding to sixteen locations and becoming one of the longest family-owned, multistore chains in the country. The company has continually demonstrated its exemplary commitment to the highest industry standards, customer satisfaction, and competitive pricing, and its dedication to the best interests of its clientele has been evident in all its transactions; and
