Honoring Trevon Pendleton as a 2024 All-Ohio Division V Football Coach of the Year.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Trevon Pendleton on being named a 2
2024 All-Ohio Division V Coach of the Year in football by the Ohio 3
Prep Sports Media Association; and 4
WHEREAS, As the head football coach at Ironton High School, Trevon 5
Pendleton has demonstrated remarkable integrity and dedication. 6
Throughout the 2024 season, he not only encouraged his athletes to 7
develop their talents to the fullest but also instilled in them a 8
valuable sense of determination, perseverance, camaraderie, and 9
spirit, and as a result, he led them to the Division V State 10
Championship title; and 11
WHEREAS, The expertise, guidance, and sound judgment of coaches 12
such as Trevon Pendleton are critical to the ultimate success of any 13
athletic endeavor. Due largely to his tireless efforts, the members of 14
the Ironton High School football team have emerged as winners, both in 15
and out of competition, and he has earned the genuine respect and 16
admiration of many for his fantastic work; and 17
WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role 18
in the total education of our young people, we are pleased to pay 19
tribute to Trevon Pendleton for a job well done. His outstanding 20
rapport with his players, as well as with his fellow coaches, has been 21
a vital factor in the team’s accomplishments, and he is certainly 22
deserving of high praise; therefore be it 23
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General 24
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Trevon 25
