A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring David Reedy for outstanding service to the State of Ohio.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to David Reedy for 2
his loyal service to the Ohio Senate; and 3
WHEREAS, Throughout David Reedy’s distinguished tenure, he has 4
demonstrated an unwavering dedication to performing his duties and 5
fulfilling his responsibilities with the utmost diligence and 6
competence. Starting as a legislative assistant for Senator Bill Coley 7
in 2011, he went on to serve as a policy advisor and senior policy 8
advisor before being named a deputy finance director in 2017. In his 9
work, he has been instrumental in maintaining the efficiency and 10
effectiveness of the legislative process and in ensuring that our 11
state continues to uphold the ideals that are embodied in our 12
constitution and in the laws enacted under it; and 13
WHEREAS, The expertise and professionalism David Reedy has shown 14
in his endeavors have gained him the admiration and esteem of all 15
those with whom he has been associated. As he reflects on his service 16
with the Ohio General Assembly staff, he has the satisfaction of 17
knowing that he has provided a valuable service to the state, and his 18
record of achievement will stand as a hallmark for others to emulate; 19
and 20

been greatly appreciated by everyone who has had the pleasure of 22
working with him. He has displayed exceptional devotion, 23
responsibility, and enthusiasm over the years, and we offer best 24
wishes as he begins a new chapter in his estimable career; therefore 25

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General 27
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend David Reedy for 28
his exemplary public service and applaud him as a fine Ohioan; and be 29
it further 30
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly 31
authenticated copy of this Resolution to David Reedy. 32
