Honoring Annice Carter on her years of service to the Ohio Legislative Service Commission.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Annice Carter on the memorable 2
occasion of her retirement from the Ohio Legislative Service 3
Commission, March 3, 2025; and 4
WHEREAS, Annice Carter has earnestly served the State of Ohio for 5
three decades, and throughout the entirety of her tenure, she has been 6
celebrated for her dedication to public service and her sterling 7
reputation. Commencing her career with the Ohio Legislative Budget 8
Office on December 5, 1994, she continued to work as a member of the 9
LSC support staff team after LBO merged with LSC, and she joined 10
Resolution Typing in 2008, where she has set herself apart as a 11
consummate professional and an asset to the department; and 12
WHEREAS, Annice Carter has been one of the Ohio Legislative 13
Service Commission’s most capable ambassadors, giving graciously of 14
her time and expertise and demonstrating a praiseworthy commitment to 15
the success of state government. Time and again, she has ensured the 16
estimable representation of the Ohio General Assembly and its elected 17
members, and her valuable service has provided the constituents of our 18
state with the commitment and effectiveness required by the 19

legislative branch; and 20
WHEREAS, Annice Carter’s contributions to the Ohio Legislative 21
Service Commission, to the Ohio General Assembly, and to the public at 22
large have been greatly admired by all those who have had the pleasure 23
of working with her, and her professional endeavors have embodied the 24
tenets of dependability, sincerity, and integrity. Indeed, her 25
distinguished service has benefited her colleagues, her fellow 26
citizens, and the State of Ohio, and her exemplary work ethic has 27
become her enduring legacy; therefore be it 28
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General 29
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, extend a heartfelt 30
salute to Annice Carter, a fine Ohioan, and offer best wishes for a 31
happy, healthy retirement; and be it further 32
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly 33
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Annice Carter. 34
