A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring the Ashland High School boys bowling team as the 2025 Division I State Champion.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the Ashland High School boys 2
bowling team on securing the 2025 Division I State Championship; and 3
WHEREAS, The talented Ashland High School boys bowling team is, 4
indeed, to be heartily commended for decisively earning this year’s 5
Division I State Championship, its first-ever state championship 6
crown. The squad’s performance reflects the outstanding collective 7
effort by a gifted group of athletes, and without exception, the team 8
has devoted countless hours to training and practice in order to 9
ensure peak conditioning. Clearly, this demanding regimen has paid 10
handsome dividends; and 11
WHEREAS, The members of the Ashland High School boys bowling team, 12
including Adam Reynolds, Luke Rhine, Max Oeken, Brantyn Long, Mikey 13
McKinney, and Landon Dreibelbis, have epitomized the power, poise, and 14
precision that befit true champions. Despite sometimes grueling 15
pressure, they have consistently maintained their composure and 16
morale, exhibiting strength, stamina, and agility in every challenging 17
encounter. Time and again, they have risen to the occasion, amply 18
demonstrating their unflagging determination, and their impressive 19
maturity and finesse have earned them widespread respect, even among 20
their most formidable rivals; and 21
WHEREAS, By weathering a rigorous schedule and prevailing over a 22
host of adversaries, the members of the Ashland High School boys 23
bowling team have learned much about dedication, self-discipline, 24
leadership, and perseverance. Their first-place finish is a measure of 25
their stalwart commitment to the sport, and their indomitable spirit 26

has made their families, friends, coach, Jim Brown, and assistant 27
coach, Chris Rhine, incredibly proud; therefore be it 28
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General 29
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the Ashland 30
High School boys bowling team on its brilliant 2024-2025 season and 31
wish its members continued success in the future; and be it further 32
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly 33
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Ashland High School boys 34
bowling team. 35
