A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Austintown Fitch High School competition cheer team as the 2025 OASSA Division 2 Building State Champion.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to the Austintown 2
Fitch High School competition cheer team on winning the Division 2 3
building category at the 2025 Ohio Association of Secondary School 4
Administrators State Cheer Championships; and 5
WHEREAS, The talented athletes of the Austintown Fitch High School 6
competition cheer team are, indeed, to be commended for their 7
remarkable fitness and competitive drive, qualities that have figured 8
prominently in the squad’s impressive performance at this year’s OASSA 9
State Cheer Championships, including placing first in the Division 2 10
building category to claim their second consecutive state title. To 11
their credit, the members could always be counted on to execute even 12
the most demanding routines with agility, precision, exuberance, and 13
grace; and 14
WHEREAS, Under the expert guidance of their coaches, Julie 15
Williams, Julie Ciolino, and Hallie Marstellar, Austintown Fitch High 16
School competition cheer team members Amadi Beardsley, Skylin 17
Christopher, Brianna Gay, Kamryn Gizzi, An’Taya Kibble, Danielle 18
Little, Ava Marstellar, Kaylyn Skowron, Mallory Whorten, and Eliana 19
Williams have trained tirelessly in order to ensure peak physical and 20
mental conditioning, and their exceptional prowess has earned them 21
many admirers. Participation in this sport has enabled them to learn 22
much about creative expression, discipline, and dedication, and 23
clearly, the experience they have acquired is certain to benefit them 24
in the years to come; and 25

WHEREAS, Their enthusiastic spirit and love of sports has led all 26
those who comprise the Austintown Fitch High School competition cheer 27
team to take part in many activities, and they have served as an 28
inspiration to their peers. Their accomplishments are a justifiable 29
source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on them but also 30
on their families, their coaches, their school, and their community; 31
therefore be it 32
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General 33
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate the 34
Austintown Fitch High School competition cheer team for exemplary 35
achievement and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it 36
further 37
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly 38
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Austintown Fitch High 39
School competition cheer team. 40
