Honoring Coltyn Reedy as a 2025 Division II State Wrestling Champion.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Coltyn Reedy on winning the 2025 2
Division II State Wrestling Championship in the 157-pound weight 3
class; and 4
WHEREAS, A senior at Sheridan High School, Coltyn Reedy has 5
combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good 6
sportsmanship to establish himself as a truly exceptional young 7
athlete. With admirable dedication, he has worked diligently toward 8
attaining ultimate proficiency in wrestling, and as a result, he won 9
this year’s Division II State Championship in the 157-pound weight 10
class to cap an outstanding 44-0 season; and 11
WHEREAS, Coltyn Reedy’s accomplishments and leadership, both in 12
and out of competition, are a justifiable source of pride and a fine 13
reflection not only on him but also on his family, his teammates, his 14
coaches, his school, and his community. His unwavering commitment to 15
excellence has earned him the respect and esteem of many, and he is 16
certainly worthy of high praise; and 17
WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role 18
in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased 19
to pay tribute to Coltyn Reedy on an exemplary season. Indeed, the 20
same maturity and experience he has gained through his participation 21
in wrestling will greatly aid him in meeting the challenges of the 22
future; therefore be it 23
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General 24
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Coltyn Reedy as 25
