A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring Brydon Feister as a 2025 Division II State Wrestling Champion.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to commend Brydon Feister on winning the 2025 2
Division II State Championship in boys wrestling in the 190-pound 3
weight class; and 4
WHEREAS, A diligent and capable individual, Brydon Feister is 5
deserving of recognition for his exemplary accomplishments as a member 6
of the Archbishop Hoban High School boys wrestling team. An 7
exceptional athlete, he defeated a tough Canfield competitor by a 8
score of 6-5 to win first place in the 190-pound weight class at this 9
year’s Division II State Tournament, securing his school’s first such 10
title in forty-four years, and his noteworthy record of personal 11
achievement stands as a testament to his dedication; and 12
WHEREAS, Through his participation in wrestling, Brydon Feister 13
has learned important lessons of discipline, perseverance, hard work, 14
and good sportsmanship that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to 15
him throughout his life. Through his outstanding efforts, he has 16
inspired countless people to excel in various areas of endeavor, and 17
he has set an example worthy of emulation; and 18
WHEREAS, In a society that seeks to teach the future leaders of 19
our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and the rewards 20
of individual effort, athletic competition has become a valuable 21
educational tool. With sports contributing to the development of 22
countless youth, we are happy to congratulate such a fine wrestler as 23
Brydon Feister; therefore be it 24
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General 25
