What AB 1124 does, verified February 3, 2026

This bill would exclude qualified overtime wages from a taxpayer's gross income for taxable years 2025-2030. Qualified overtime wages are paid to taxpayers who work directly in response to or in support of emergency operations. The bill would take effect immediately as a tax levy and would require additional information for any new tax expenditure.
